Junior Graphic Designer

This is a full-time, on-site  position. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic team, contributing to strategy, process, and production work.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional working experience as a graphic designer
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and Google Suite.
  • You can talk through your design choices and are open to constructive feedback (it’s how we all grow!)
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field—OR equivalent practical experience/portfolio

Responsibilities

  • Work both independently and with the design team to effectively execute projects.
  • Execute creative design concepts for a variety of clients in various forms of media, with an emphasis on social and digital platforms.
  • Participate in strategy and brainstorming sessions.
  • Work on original design concepts and branding for The Think Shop clients, and assist in production as necessary.
  • Take an active role in managing social media content.
  • Productively participate in weekly meetings with the creative team.
  • Effectively present creative ideas and layouts to the team.
  • Communicate well with senior team members for feedback.
  • Track and report hours worked.
  • Complete production, workflow, internal marketing, and general office duties as assigned.

Schedule & Observed Holidays

  • Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.
  • Company Holidays observed:
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day, July 4
    • Labor Day, the first Monday in September
    • Thanksgiving Day, the fourth Thursday in November
    • Christmas Day, Dec. 25 through New Year’s Day, Jan. 1
    • 1 Floating Holiday of choice
