The Challenge

ITT’s Fine Blanking needed to establish its identity to grow into the North American industry. The Think Shop was tasked with creating a new name and a brand identity to visually establish this new name within the market. Deriving from the Latin root meaning “new,” the name conveys technology, embodies a sense of innovation, and coincides with the goals for the company’s future. The logo and brand development visually communicate the precision and stamping process of fine blanking. It has a sharp, industrial look that makes a bold statement as an experienced yet “new” company within the industry.

Graphic System

The Think Shop designed a supporting graphic system that draws on the fine blanking process and the world-class precision the company is known for. As a manufacturer of automotive brake backplates, having a strong and effective brand is critical to the company’s success.
