Palmer Engineering had a dated logo built with fonts that were popular a few decades ago. Unfortunately this limited how they could use the logo and leverage their brand.
We cleaned up the essential block to give it a smoother feel and more pleasing proportions. The clean new font choices and color made the log more representative of their work and keep it easy to use in a variety of applications.
The main block was used to create a brick, the literal building block of civil engineering. Rotating and repeating the brick shape creates an interlocking pattern that echoes the fundamentals of their business.
Using additional proportions, arrangements, and outlines this element has been used to create supporting graphics on business cards, their website, slideshows, and other key touchpoints of the Palmer Engineering brand.
